Each item copies five ways from the same words: bulletin, text message, slide, social caption and email. The preview beside it drops those words into a template.
This Week in Church Comms: October 19 to 25
It's a full week. Trunk or treat is next weekend, Pastor Appreciation Month is wrapping up, and Christmas invites are closer than they feel. Here's what to post now, and what to start quietly.

Sunday focus
Welcome. We're glad you're here. This month we thank our pastor, and next weekend we hope you'll bring a neighbor to Trunk or Treat.
Ideas for this week
Bulletin
Add a "Trunk or Treat: last call" box with the date, time, rain plan, and a final ask for trunk hosts and candy.
Slides
Put the trunk or treat slide first in your pre-service loop this Sunday. People forget.
Social
Post a trunk sneak peek: a member decorating a car, with permission. It is fun and easy to share.
Invite neighbors to the fall event, and mention Christmas Eve so families can plan travel.
In person
If the church has not thanked the pastor yet, a card table in the lobby this Sunday still counts.
Ready-to-use posts
Trunk or treat (social or flyer)
Trunk or Treat is back! Join us [Day, Date] from [time] in the church parking lot for candy, games and decorated trunks. Free and all ages welcome. Rain plan: indoors in the fellowship hall.
Trunk hosts (bulletin)
Calling all trunk decorators! Sign up to host a trunk at our Trunk or Treat on [date]. Pick a theme, bring candy and help us welcome our neighbors. Sign up at the welcome desk or [link] by [date].
Candy drive (social)
Help us fill the candy bins! Drop off individually wrapped candy (and some non-food treats for kids with allergies) in the lobby by [date]. Thank you for helping us welcome every little superhero and princess.
Pastor thanks (social)
October is Pastor Appreciation Month! Thank you, Pastor [Name], for the visits, the prayers, the sermons and the late-night phone calls. Leave a note of thanks for our pastor in the comments or drop a card in the office.
A Sunday about grace (social or bulletin)
This Sunday we give thanks for God's grace, freely given. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God." (Ephesians 2:8, KJV)
Plan ahead
3 weeks out (Thanksgiving)
Food drive and a simple Thanksgiving service note. Draft them now.
Invite Sunday (Nov 15)
Print a small invite card this week so people can hand it to a friend.
Christmas Eve (Dec 24)
Ask your pastor to confirm service times by Nov 1. A save-the-date goes out in early November. If you use Advent candles, confirm the series title too. If you don't, skip the candles and lock the Christmas Eve times.
Tip of the week
Make one event card before you make anything else. For trunk or treat, write the name, date, time, place, rain plan, and contact in five lines. Paste that same block into the bulletin, the Facebook event, the slide, and the email. One source means no mismatched times.
