Week of October 19, 2026
Sit on the floor. Ask, "Have you ever been told to wait because the grown-ups were busy?" Tell them that some grown-ups once tried to send children away from Jesus. He said no. Memory verse: "Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God." (Mark 10:14, KJV)
Each child writes a first name on a paper heart and places it on a poster that says Come. Use the coloring page of a path, hills, and a cross.

Week of October 26, 2026
Show two paper hearts. Crumple one, then smooth it. The creases stay. Say, "Unkind words are hard to take back. God helps us start again." Memory verse: "And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." (Ephesians 4:32, KJV)
Each child draws a heart and writes a kind sentence, such as "God loves you." With a teacher's help, they may give it to someone at church. Use the two-hearts coloring page.

Week of November 2, 2026
Pass a small basket. Each child names one good thing. Write the words where everyone can see them. Then read the verse together, slowly. Memory verse: "O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever." (Psalm 107:1, KJV)
Color a leaf and tell one thing you are thankful for. If the church says yes, hang the leaves on a string in the hallway.

Practice a welcome: "Hi, I'm ___. Want to sit with me?" Then color the open door.
