VBS, Missions, and Outreach Posts That Stay Clear

Kids' week and a mission trip get messy when one graphic tries to recruit volunteers, register children, and tell a story. Split them. One post, one job.

VBS

Publish in this order:

  1. Save the date. Dates, ages, and "registration opens [date]."
  2. Volunteer ask. Roles in plain words: crew leader, snacks, crafts. Name the training date.
  3. Registration open. The link, the ages, and what a day feels like in one sentence.
  4. Week-of reminder. What to bring. Where to park.
  5. Thank-you. Volunteers and families. Photos only with permission. No full names of children.

The library already has this set: save the date, volunteers, registration, countdown, week-of, and thank-you.

"But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 19:14, KJV)

VBS season on the calendar is a typical US window, June through July 2027. Put your real dates on the graphic.

Missions and outreach

Say where, when, and how to pray or sign up. Do not invent a result before the team is home.

  • Before: "Our team heads to [place] on [date]. Pray for safe travel and open conversations." P087
  • During: one true update, short. P093
  • Local outreach day: place, time, and what people will do. P123

"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." (Acts 1:8, KJV)

Skip graphic maps of sensitive locations if the team asked you to. A city name is enough.

Volunteer thanks

The people who ran VBS and the outreach day need a public thank-you the next Sunday. See Volunteer Appreciation Ideas and P125.
